Daily Habits


Everything we think, say, and do is a result of deep-seated habits etched into our minds through years and years of repetition. These habits help us forward or hinder our progress in all facets of our life. Habits are considered a powerful part of our daily events. According to a study, 45 percent of everything we do on a daily basis is driven by our habits.
This lesson will provide an insight into a person's daily habits. The participants will converse about their daily routine.


Vocabulary: 

habits              /ˈhabət/ n. a practice or regular tendency to do things.

modern           /ˈmädərn/ adj. relating to the present or recent times as opposed to the remote past.

oversleep        /ˌōvərˈslēp/ v. sleep longer or later than one intended

routine            /ro͞oˈtēn/ n. a sequence of actions that is regularly followed

impulsive        /imˈpəlsiv/ adj. acting or done without forethought
